Chatri Sityodtong or Yodchatri Sityodtong (born 1971) is a Muay Thai trainer, fighter, and entrepreneur from the Sityodtong Gym in Pattaya, Thailand. He is a certified senior Muay Thai instructor under Kru Yodtong Senanan of the Sityodtong Camp in Pattaya, Thailand.[1] [2] His last professional fight was in 2008, a close decision loss to veteran Duernchon Sor.Ploenchit in Thailand. Kru Yodtong Senanan appointed his long time student, Kru Chatri Sityodtong, as one of only 4 conservators of Sityodtong Muay Thai in the world.
Kru Chatri Sityodtong is founder and Chairman of Evolve MMA, the largest chain of MMA academies in Asia.[3] In September 2011 CNN described Evolve MMA as Asia's number one-ranked MMA-training organization.[4] A multi-millionaire entrepreneur, he is also involved in real estate, media, and technology businesses. He has trained, coached, and cornered top professional fighters such as DREAM FC Lightweight World Champion Shinya Aoki, UFC Lightweight Contender Rafael dos Anjos, BJJ World Champion Zorobabel Moreira, BJJ World Champion Leandro Issa Da Silva, Muay Thai World Champion Yoddecha Sityodtong, former WBA Boxing World Champion Yodsanan Sor Nanthachai at top events such as the UFC, ONE Fighting Championship, DREAM Fighting Championship, the Art of War Fighting Championship, the Martial Combat Fighting Championship, the Lumpinee Stadium Championship, and many others.[5] A Muay Thai expert, Kru Chatri is also a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Master Renzo Gracie. He has also been a guest MMA analyst for ESPN StarSports in Asia.
Yodchatri Sityodtong holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.[6] In 2011 he was named by MSN as one of the top coaches of the year alongside Greg Jackson and Pep Guardiola. [7]
